Favorite Affordable Thing?
A good pencil, whenever I'm in an art store. The woodless graphites are my favorite, like the Cretacolor Monolith Woodless Pencil. Just a smooth, velvety way to sketch.
Also, afew years ago I discovered the apartment squeegee, and it transformed how I clean my windows and mirrors.
Biggest Splurge?
A Black Hole Backpack from Patagonia. Great for everyday use and weather proof-ish for trips.
I recently got a polaroid backing for my camera. Pretty cool. They're each made individually by a guy named Han.
