Jonathan Zavaleta is a former freelance contributor and now a full-time E-Commerce Editor at SPY.com. He is a native Angeleno with a passion for writing about politics, music, film and fashion. His love of media began in high school when he was the editor-in-chief of his campus’ weekly paper. While working toward a Bachelor’s in Politics at UC Santa Cruz, he volunteered as a journalist and DJ at the college’s radio station, KZSC. After graduating, he worked as a writer for an art gallery, an activist for a political organization, and a copywriter for a startup producing men’s grooming products.
