Lorraine Wilde is a freelance contributor to SPY.com who has published hundreds of blogs and articles on a range of subjects. She continues to focus much of her work on science, the environment and pets.
Throughout 30 years in the industry, she’s also been a teacher, actor, filmmaker, environmental scientist, mother of twins and pet mom. She is also the owner and Lead Strategist of the publicity business, Wilde World Communications.
Her writing has been featured in Parents Magazine, on Treehugger and Spruce Pets and in many regional and local publications in the Pacific Northwest.
Born and raised in Michigan, Lorraine has lived and played in beautiful Bellingham, WA since 1993 where she earned her Masters in Environmental Science from Western Washington University. Mom to both cats and dogs for about four decades, in her free time Lorraine might be found enjoying the great outdoors with her family and dogs — on a bike, in a kayak, on a hiking trail or photographing bears and eagles with her husband.
